Maturation: Barrel, Special Reserve
Grape: 50% Tempranillo, 50% Mazuelo
Fermentation: 27 – 30 days
These grapes deserved to be separated from the general vintage of 1998 due to their unexpected quality.
They were of the Tempranillo and Mazuelo variety, mixed in equal parts. They fermented with their native yeasts, with daily remontages. Subsequently, they were aged in new French oak barrels for 14 months, and their rounding continued for 23 months in bottles.
It’s a great wine with a cutting-edge character, and its harmonious strength surprises with its pleasing complexity. A wine that will leave a mark.
An unclassifiable wine. Depending on its production, it’s a classic; depending on its personality, it’s modern.
