Los Clasicos – Señor de Lesmos

The Modern Wines

Consisting of 85% Tempranillo, of which half grew in areas with calcareous slate, the other half in poor earth with underground of calcareous crushed rock, as well as 15% Mazuelo, in chalk and ferrous earth. Elaborated with grapes, destemmed and gently crushed, left in fermentation some 27-30 days. After various settling and decanting processes in storage tanks, the wine is then filled into Barricas of oak, where it remains 14 months. Filled on bottles for further aging of 12 months, the Crianza is now ready for its marketing. For the varieties Reserva and Gran Reserva the various phases of maturing in Barricas and Bottles respectively last longer.
